RED AND BURGUNDY ARE THE NEW BLACK

Ayer tuvimos un día bastante completo con los desfiles de Zimmermann, Rebecca Minkoff y mis dos favoritos, Carmen Marc Valvo y Peter Som. Pudimos ver estilos diferentes pero todos con un mismo protagonista, el ROJO, ya que ayer era el día de rojo para luchar en contra de las enfermedades del corazón. Además en el front row de Peter Som pudimos ver a nuestra chica favorita, Olivia Palermo. Muchos brillantes, vestidos de fiesta, algunos con un toque que rozaba lo medieval con los prints de celosías en el desfile de Carmen Marc Valvo.

Hoy se avecina un gran día con Lacoste, Herve Leger y Alexander Wang entre otros. Lacoste ha enseñado sus propuestas hace unos minutos en las cuales el principal color era el BURGUNDY! Ese que nos ha acompañado todo este invierno y parece ser que el próximo también. Nuestro gran amigo Lemaire y el famoso cocodrilo han protagonizado un desfile lleno de prendas sport que rozaban el estilo college con unas mochilas serán de seguro el complemento estrella. Otra prenda es el vestido con la cremallera por delante y capucha. Eso sin olvidarnos de los clásicos outfits, jersey oversize con mini falda y el vestido cuello de cisne hasta la rodilla. Muy clásico y muy Lacoste.

A la espera de los desfiles de esta tarde-noche, yo me voy a preparar ya que he quedado con unas personas muy especiales, los que conocí en el voluntariado de Madrid 2020!

Yesterday we had a very busy day with Zimmermann, Rebecca Minkoff, and my two favorites, Carmen Marc Valvo and Peter Som shows. We could see different styles but all of them with the same patron, THE RED COLOR. That’s because yesterday was the Red Day to fight heart disease. Furthermore we could see our favorite girl in Peter Som’s front row, Olivia Palermo (recently engaged, CONGRATULATIONS!). Too mucho bright, party dresses, and some of them with a little touch which seemed the mediaeval style with jalousie print on Carmen Marc Valvo show.

Today is gonna be a great day with Lacoste’s, Herve Leger’s and Alexander Wang’s shows between others. Lacoste has already shown their clothes only a few minute ago, and which main color was the BURGUNDY! It was our dear from the last season, and for we can see, the next one too. Our dear friend Lemaire and the famous crocodile, they make a show full of sport clothes that sometimes it could be college style with a bags, these will be for sure our favorite complement next winter. Another one was the dress with the zipper in the front and a hoodie. But we can’t forget the classics outfits, oversize pull with mini-skirt and the swan neck dress till the knees. Very classy and very Lacoste.  

In the mean time waiting for the afternoon shows, I’m going to prepare myself for my night because I’m going to meet with very special people, the people I met on my volunteering for Madrid 2020.

HAPPY FASHION DAY!

Después de tanto tiempo ya echaba de menos escribir y que mejor día que este. Hoy comienza una de las semanas más frenéticas del año en el mundo de la moda, y en el de todos. Comienza la NEW YORK FASHION WEEK! Días de empaparnos de moda y de ideas para el próximo otoño/invierno, porque lo importante no es tener este o aquel diseño, si no saber exprimirlo al máximo, coger lo mejor de cada uno y de cada diseñador. De los desfiles que he podido ver hoy gracias a la página web de la NYFW, mi favorito y sin duda el más esperado ha sido el de BCBGMAXAZRIA. Esta marca creada en 1989 por el diseñador francés Max Azria es todo un icono en la clase media-alta y una apuesta segura en evento y fiestas como así lo demostró una amiga mía que descubrió esta casa de modas ;). BCBG signifca “Bon Chic, Bon Genre” una frase que sin duda le hace justicia. Centrándonos ya en el desfile de hoy, los que hemos tenido la suerte de verlo hemos podido apreciar un poco menos de formalidad pero eso si, sin perder la elegancia para el otoño/invierno que nos aguarda. Sus nuevos diseños que consistían en vestidos asimétricos y algunos superpuestos, faldas con aberturas, estampados geométricos y un sinfín de mezclas B/W con colores bastante alegres como el turquesa. No ha olvidado nuestro querido y gran amigo el color borgoña tan de moda esta temporada. En resumen, colores muy femeninos para unos vestido que aún dando tendencia de informales no dejan de ser elegantes, y sin olvidarse del famoso abrigo de pelo. Por último, creo que todos nos hemos alegrado al ver en el front row a una de nuestras actrices favoritas que ha marcado nuestra adolescencia con H2O, nuestra juventud con Crónicas Vampíricas y continua ahora con The Originals, Phoebe Tonkin, o como no a una de las It Girls de todos los tiempos, Coco Rocha.

Como suele decir Blair Waldorf, levantaté cada día por una razón y vístete para mostrar lo que quieres que vean los demás. La ocasión lo merecía.

After a long time, I already missed writing and what it is better than today. Today stars one of the most frenetic weeks of the year in the fashion world, and well, the entire world. THE NEW YORK FASHION WEEK!  Days with one thought: FASHION. Days of taking ideas for the next autumn/winter, because the important thing is not have that design nor the other, it’s to know everything, it’s no take the best of every design and every designer. About the runways that I’ve could see today, thanks to the NYFW web, my favorite and the most wanted has been the BCBGMAXAZRIA. This brand was created on 1989 by the French designer Max Azria, it’s a huge icon for the middle-high class and a great choice for all kind of events and parties, a friend of mine prove that and also taught me about this maison ;). BCBG means “Bon Chic, Bon Genre” a quote that makes justice without a doubt. Now, focus on the runway, lucky us that have been able to see it, we saw a little less of formality but without losing the elegance for this autumn/winter in coming. Their new designs were full of asymmetrical dresses and some of them behind the others, skirts with openings, geometric prints and a lot of B/W combinations with lightfull colors like the turquoise. Max hasn’t forgotten our dear and great friend the Burgundy, so popular this season. To sum up, so much female colors for dresses that could not be black tie but truly stylish and, don’t forget our famous fur coat. Finally, I think that all of you be glad when you saw on the Front Row one our favorites actresses that defines our adolescence with H2O, our womanhood with Vampire Diaries and it remains with The Originals, Phoebe Tonkin. Or one of the It Girl of the time, Coco Rocha.
